Roadside Assistance is an animated short film telling the unique story from director Kathy McNeal’s own real-life experience entwined with her wish for a little more magic in the world. It’s the first short film from the director and an inspiring story for all to see that unlikely outcomes can be achieved with a little time and effort.
This is a short film created on a low budget with a focus on equality. Kathy has sourced aspiring artists from her direct network. There was always an aspiration for a 50/50 balance of male to female in the production team. There was no certainty that it was in reach but upon later analysis realized it was already achieved. The team utilized tutorials and training sessions from Nimble Collective to learn new tools in order to create a high quality, original short on the Nimble Collective Platform.
